Silversmithing course

 

Would you like to craft your own unique hand-made piece of jewellery?

In this weekend course you will learn the basics of silversmithing, you will learn how to shape, saw, file, forge, solder and polish silver, while working on your own individual project.

I will guide you personally in your creation during the course.

At the end of the course you have made a jewelry of your own design which hopefully you'll cherish for a long time.

If you have a special idea or just want to make sure you can create your idea in the day workshop you can get in touch via email in advance and we can discuss and prepare for it, if you need inspiration I can send you a link with ideas that will help you with inspiration.

 

Studio

Our workshop is equipped with all the tools and main machines needed for silversmithing and you can learn modern silversmithing techniques.

You can work on your own idea and develop the steps to create it in silver. 

No prior experience is required.

There are different silver wires and plates that you can use for your jewelry and at the end of the course the material is weighed and billed for according to market price.

 

Weekend day workshop

Duration of the course is 5 hours in one day and it includes a fika pause.

There are two time slots available in March, you can select either the Saturday or Sunday.

Cost

The cost of a weekend day workshop is 1400kr.

The material is available in our studio to use and you only pay for what you would like to make at the end of the course.

You are welcome to book your course via email, info@laterrastore.com.

Please send your full name, phone number and preferred date with the subject ''Silversmithing course''.

You can pay via Swish or by invoice.

Any cancellation must be made in writing to us by e-mail, this must be done no later than 7 days before the course, otherwise half the course fee will be charged. If participants do not show up or cancel after the course has started, the full course fee will be charged.
